It all started in 1982, when Mr. Louis Vitalis formed the "Greek-American Greek TV Program". In 1983, Louis Vitalis in association with Dr. Ernest Panos from Chicago initiated the "Grecian Spotlight" which aired in on KTSF Channel 26. In 1985, Mr. Louis Vitalis invited the association and contribution of Mr. Dimitri Carapanos, the current owner & Executive Producer of Greek TV, Inc.

Since 1982, Greek TV has been the only Greek Community TV program in California. The program airs every Saturday from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. (PST) on KTSF Channel 26, San Francisco.

Greek TV is a unique weekly medium of communication for all Greek-Americans in California.

Greek TV provides us with an excellent opportunity to participate in our community's affairs and remain united and informed.

By supporting Greek TV, you serve your community by allowing everyone to benefit from its unique and informative broadcast.

The only way to preserve our precious culture and Hellenic heritage for the benefit of our children is by maintaining our customs, traditions, values and faith. The best way of achieving this goal is through active participation in the Greek community. We must be UNITED in order to continue to "celebrate our heritage through the next century".
